The name of the app are Crop Insurance and AgriMarket.Minister said that the app would help the farmers not only to find out complete details about insurance cover available in their area but also to calculate the insurance premium for notified crops, coverage amount and loan amount in case of a loaned farmer .The other app will help the farmers in getting info of market (mandi) price of various products within the 50 km radius and also of the other mandis.This will help the farmer to get the correct values for their crops as they was had problem in getting the correct valuation. In the current scenario this will prove helpful to the farmers; this can also been seen as a step towards digitalization.
